PRP Vampire Facial
Medical microneedling powered by your own platelet-rich plasma — the gold-standard regenerative treatment for tone, texture and true skin rejuvenation.
The PRP Vampire Facial combines precision microneedling with platelet-rich plasma harvested from your own blood. Those platelets are packed with growth factors that accelerate healing, rebuild collagen and dramatically amplify results compared to microneedling alone. At Lumen, our providers use medical-grade dermapens and centrifuged, high-concentration PRP — the same protocol trusted by dermatologists for scarring, sun damage, dullness and early signs of aging.

What to Expect
- 01
Blood Draw & Spin
A small vial of blood is drawn and centrifuged to isolate the platelet-rich plasma.
- 02
Microneedling + PRP
After numbing, we glide a medical dermapen across the skin while layering PRP into the microchannels for maximum absorption.
- 03
Recovery & Rebuild
Expect 24–48 hours of pink, tight skin. Glow appears within a week; collagen continues to build for 3 months.
Questions, Answered
Everything you need to know about PRP Vampire Facial at Lumen.
How is this different from regular microneedling?
+
Regular microneedling triggers collagen. Adding PRP floods the microchannels with your own growth factors — faster healing, deeper remodeling and significantly better results for scars and texture.
How many sessions do I need?
+
A series of 3–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart delivers optimal results, with maintenance once or twice a year.
Does it hurt?
+
No. Topical numbing is applied for 25 minutes; most clients report only a light vibration. The blood draw feels like a routine lab.
How long is the downtime?
+
Skin is pink and slightly tight for 24–48 hours, similar to a mild sunburn. Makeup can be applied after 24 hours.
Is PRP safe?
+
Extremely — because it's your own plasma, there is no risk of allergic reaction or rejection. It's been used medically for decades in orthopedics and dermatology.
